Tutoring Policies & Guidelines Tuition Payments & Cancellation: Aim4A Tutoring at this location is provided by an independent business under a license from kwizNET Learning System, LLC.  Please see your tutoring center owner for tuition payment and cancellation policies at this location. Classroom and Homework: After the placement test, your student will receive a personalized Aim-for-A Tutoring Binder.  Students should organize their work in this binder and bring it to every class.  If your binder fills up or wears out, please purchase a new binder and organize your work. Plan to arrive at the assigned class starting time.  Even if you arrive late, the class will end at the assigned ending time so that the next class can start on time. Parents must pickup their students promptly when the class ends. Parent/guardian is responsible for the behavior of their child in the classroom and on the premises. Students may ask questions when a tutor is available.  We request that students not disturb a tutor when he/she is helping another student. Parents may ask questions before or after a class, but not during a class. By default, your student will be given homework that will be due at the next class.  If for some reason, you do not want homework for your student, please let us know. Please make sure that your student writes his/her name and the date on every worksheet. If you miss a class, there won’t be a make-up class. We observe all the national holidays, i.e., if a class falls on a national holiday (e.g., Christmas), it won’t be conducted. If we cancel a class because of non-availability of rooms, inclement weather, or other unforeseen reasons, we will offer a make-up class. Please bring your students to the classes according to the schedule you have selected.  If you would like to change your schedule, please send us an email indicating the revised schedule prior to the change. Other Information: Educational Contests & Recognition Awards: Aim-for-A Tutoring encourages students to excel in academics by recognizing their successes. We conduct educational contests such Math Olympiad, Gauss, AMC8/10, Essay Writing, and Public Speaking Contests and award prizes or certificates. Parents are encouraged to submit information on their students’ recent academic successes (either at their school or competitive exams) to the tutor. All the students with academic achievements are added to the “A-List”  which will be displayed on our web site (please send us an email if you do not want your student's name displayed on our web site).
